The Challenge
DEWALT, a major brand within the SBD group approached us with a unique challenge: They needed to create maximum impact within one of their customer’s flagship stores whilst leveraging their existing inventory.
It was also important to consider design solutions that could be scaled to suit future store footprints of any size.
The Solution
The space provided in the store was large at 66m2 and with DEWALT’s main competitors next door, the solution had to deliver high impact. So, our creative team got to work and developed an immersive shop-in-shop design to elevate the in-store experience, using planograms and 3D renders for the sell-in phase.
Utilising our catalogued modular system of permanent SKUs set up for Stanley Black & Decker, the bulk of standard units could be sourced from the SBD warehouse using existing stocks.
The design and build comprised flooring, tables, decals, screens and illuminated signage, to create a brand-new look and feel, with zones tailored for specific tools using all sides and floor space.
Paragon Global Brands worked closely with Stanley Black & Decker’s brand team from brief to execution of the final build ensuring compliance at every stage. Our engineering team made sure each component was compliant with health and safety requirements, weight limits and customer store parameters.
The Results
The result was the fast implementation of the shop-in-shop, upstaging the competition and delivering a fully immersive brand experience for the shopper.
Working to the ratio of 80% existing / 20% new SKUs, we were able to customise and enhance overall customer experience in-store whilst maximising efficiencies of doing more with less and thus greatly increasing the speed to market.
